Campus Community School is a charter school. A charter school is an
independent public school governed by an independent board of directors. A
charter is an approved charter application that outlines the educational and
administrative plan to which the school and the State of Delaware have agreed.
Charter schools are free from some state laws and regulations to encourage
innovation. Charter schools receive state and local funds based on an
allocation for each enrolled student. Charter schools do not receive money for
facilities. No tuition is charged.
Cougars are Taking the Plunge!
Campus Community School will be
participating in the Polar Bear Plunge in Rehoboth! CCS is gathering a Frozen
Cougar team to participate in this years Polar Bear Plunge. Our Frozen
Cougar page is located here . The plunge will be at
Rehoboth Beach @ 1pm sharp. The team usually meets up around 11:00 at
Nicola pizza, 8N 1st street for lunch.
Position Opening - Technology
Campus Community School is in search of a
Technology Coordinator to manage the support of instructional, operational and
communication systems. The Technology Coordinator will lead projects and people
in Technology Services and is expected to participate in providing direct
technical support with systems and IT disciplines critical to the district. The
position is a daytime weekday position, but occasionally requires evening or

Board of Directors meeting change
January's monthly meeting of the Campus Community Board of
Directors has been postponed due to adverse weather. The meeting has been
rescheduled for Thursday, January 30th at 6:00 P.M.
